The Spanish international has played just 12 minutes of Premier League football under Antonio Conte so far this season with N’Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic and Oscar preferred in midfield.

SportItalia is reporting that the 29-year-old has been offered to Milan but Sky Sports counters that report saying Fabregas wasn’t offered to Milan, and in fact the Rossoneri got in touch with Chelsea.

In the proposed deal, Fabregas would arrive on a loan deal, with the Rossoneri paying his wages for the remainder of the season. Milan TV also confirms contact, but says that Fabregas wants to stay at Chelsea as he sees a future for himself under Conte.
