Osinbanjo resigned as a Pastor of The Redeem Christian Church of God, he told some of of his colleagues that he could not continue because of the nature of his work and the kind of assignment his superior sends him to execute. He further explained that he would not want any of his actions in office to dent the image of the church and stain the reputation of the General over sear. He said no politician serving in Nigeria to day has clean hands and a pure heart therefore urging true men of God to disengage themselves from politics if they truly want to make heaven.
